Mini-Documentary Premiere of WellShare International on diabetes and its complications was shown last week at People’s Center – Clinics & Services, People’s Center is a nationally recognized non-profit community health center serving diverse communities in south Minneapolis and surrounding communities, last week. People’s Center operates a network of three clinics and accepts all patients regardless of their ability to pay! Afrodeli provided amazing food to the event.
The documentary tells a beautiful story of a son, Abdirahman Hassan Mohamed Geele, and his father’s journey, Hassan Mohamed Geele, with diabetes and navigating tragedy, fear and love together. Hassan is from Hargeisa, Somaliland, and Abdirahman is his eldest son.
